Don't Qualify for All-on-4 Yet? We Offer Supplementary Treatment
Since All-on-4 implants still require some amount of existing jaw tissue for placement, not all patients will immediately qualify for treatment. However, you can improve your candidacy with preparatory care. Our Los Algodones dental clinic offers supplementary treatments like:
While the dental implants used in the All-on-4 system need less jawbone material to fuse to, some patients still don't have enough. That's because bone loss naturally follows tooth loss. With bone grafting targeting your lower jaw, our Los Algodones dentists can replenish lost tissue to prepare you for dental implants.
Many patients come to us with broken or decayed teeth in need of extraction. There's no shame in needing help, and we may even be able to place your implants on the same day we extract your teeth. We also use high-tech cone-beam computed tomography (CBCT), which gives a 3D look at your teeth, gums, and jaw for precise removal.
Patients who need additional bone material around their upper jaws and sinus cavities may be candidates for a sinus lift. As with bone grafting, it restores bone material to the area, improving candidacy for traditional dental implants and All-on-4 treatment. The makers of All-on-4 offer two other innovative dental implant treatments: All-on-6® and All-on-8®. Our Los Algodones practice offers all three, giving you options.
Like the dental implants used in All-on-4, these methods use either 6 or 8 implants to secure a full-arch denture to your upper or lower jaw. They tend to be a little more expensive than All-on-4 implants, partly due to the amount of implants used and partly because they usually require supplemental procedures, like a bone graft, but they provide added support for your denture. This can save you time and money in the long run.
