Lower Prices, Highest Standards

Why Choose Us for Dental Implants in Los Algodones

The cost of dental care in the United States is rising, and many patients are exploring dental tourism to get the treatment they need at a price they can afford. While there’s no shortage of dental implant providers in the area, our practice is proud to be the preferred provider for many who come to Mexico for their care. Here’s why patients from all over North America travel to our practice for dental implants in Los Algodones:

  • The price of an implant, abutment, and crown ranges from $1,650 to $2,150. Most dental clinics in the U.S. and Canada charge that amount or more for just the implant alone.
  • We’ll transport you from the border to our dental office in Los Algodones. We can arrange to transport you back after treatment as well.
  • Los Algodones is a safe community in Mexicali that thrives on medical tourism. In fact, our offices are in areas that are statistically safer than most cities in the U.S.
  • Our team speaks both English and Spanish. Whether you’re coming from nearby Mexicali or a U.S. state, we’ll communicate in the language you prefer.

See the Difference We Can Make With Dental Implants in Los Algodones, Mexico

We rehabilitated this patient’s smile using implant-supported crowns to replace half an arch of missing teeth. He left with a natural-looking smile he couldn’t wait to share with the world!

How Implants Work to Restore Your Smile

Dental implants are surgically placed into your jaw to act as a sturdy base for a dental crown, bridge, or denture. They are made of three components:

  1. Titanium implant: Fuses with your jawbone and replaces your missing tooth roots.
  2. Abutment piece: Fastens to your implant to secure your restoration.
  3. Lifelike restoration: Restores your tooth above the gumline.

While your crown, bridge, or denture may need to be replaced after about 10 years, your implant and abutment can last a lifetime.

We understand that the cost of dental work can be intimidating. However, delaying dental care for missing teeth can have serious outcomes that are expensive to address.

By seeking care for missing teeth early, you can prevent significant oral health concerns like jawbone atrophy, TMJ disorders, tooth decay, and further tooth loss. These concerns can cause both your oral and overall health to suffer, and the expense of treating them may exceed what dental implant treatment would have cost in the first place.

To learn about how dental implants from our Los Algodones practice can promote your oral health and save you money in the long run, get in touch with us today.

What To Expect During Dental Implant Treatment

Each patient's needs are unique, so treatment can vary. However, every patient's treatment starts with a call to our practice serving Los Algodones, Mexicali, and beyond.

Our advanced technology and high-quality materials create incredible results that last.

Consultation

Our dental professionals in Los Algodones will use our advanced 3D technology to evaluate your oral health, bone density, and more to determine which dental treatment or combination of treatments will restore your smile.

Preparatory Work

Implants need a healthy foundation to last and to function at their best. Some patients will require preparatory dental care to ensure successful results. Some preparatory work, like tooth extractions, can be performed on the same day as implant placement. However, other treatments, like bone grafts or sinus lifts, must be completed in separate appointments.

IV Sedation

We bring in an anesthesiologist to provide IV sedation for your dental implant procedure. You should be asleep and comfortable and have no memory of surgery.

Implant Placement

During the surgical procedure, our dentist will use a sophisticated surgical guide to create an incision and place the titanium implant.

Osseointegration

Over the next three to six months, your jawbone will heal and fuse with your dental implant through a process called osseointegration. Most patients can receive a temporary restoration during this time.

Abutment Placement

After you heal from dental implant surgery, another incision is made above your implant so the abutment can be attached. Another healing period is required, which is about two weeks long.

Restoration Creation

Our upstairs lab uses top-of-the-line 3D printers and milling machines to create the best-looking dental crowns, bridges, and dentures. Our doctors oversee the creation and have full control of the design to ensure they look just like your natural teeth.

Restoration Placement

You will visit us in Los Algodones one more time to have your restoration placed. Our dentist will make any final adjustments to ensure a secure fit. Once your restoration is placed, you can chew, speak, and smile with ease.
